Family holidays in Israel
Israel to the Dead Sea with the tour operator EGYPTIAN TREASURES TOURS from Egypt. It was in the month of April, I think that this is one of the most suitable months for visiting this resort. Since the weather during this period is magical and absolutely summer. They did not look at the thermometer, but during the day the temperature was felt within +30, +35 degrees. When I first saw the Dead Sea, I was not particularly surprised, but getting to know him better, I realized that this is a unique place.
Sand on the coast of bright rich yellow color, reminiscent of clay. Having smeared each other with mud, bought in the nearby Miracle Dead Sea Cosmetics store, we plunged into the sea. And here you are immediately surprised that there are no algae or corals, and in general there is no underwater world, it’s clear where it comes from when there is an increased concentration of salt. Nothing in this environment survives.
Being in the water for a long time is not recommended. We were told no more than 10 minutes in one call and the number of calls if possible reduced to two. But we neglected the recommendations, which we regretted a little later, the skin itched very much. It feels like water as a vegetable oil, although, surprisingly, it rinses off quickly. Swimming in the sea is fun enough to drown – you need to try. We frolic like children and lay on our back, trying to swim in this way, but in the end you just push off with your heels and nothing happens, while you could keep your head upright to your body. They stretched along the whole body, also “sat” on the water and tried to dive, but still, the main part of the body remained above the water. And when they tried to swim forward, the body still moved, for some reason I did not understand, back.
But I want to say separately for the coast and changing rooms, it is clear that people come to the health resort from all over the world and therefore it is difficult to maintain cleanliness, but it was still not very comfortable in such a littered environment.
After an hour or two, we went further on the planned excursion. Fortunately, Israel is not so great and in a day you can travel to all the sights in the nearest Dead Sea region. Namely Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and if time remains, then plunge into the Jordan River from Israel. The cost of this one-day excursion was $ 70 per person. If you book an excursion in only one place, for example, to Jerusalem, then the cost will be the same, only you will spend the whole day in one city. In general, the tour is quite diverse, rich and at a price, as for me, not expensive. Impressions are only positive. But there is a huge minus here, especially with regard to the territory of the Dead Sea coast – the prices here are simply prohibitive for everything: food, drinks, entertainment, cosmetics and more. The benefit of the tour included a buffet and toilets along the route that we traveled, were free and that are surprisingly very clean and well maintained.
I would recommend such an excursion, since for such money you visit many significant places. But it is very tiring and the second time it’s better not to skimp and take more money with you, allot for more days and feel comfortable.
